The Claus Family North Pole

by SantaShoppe 9. February 2010 05:01
Santa and Mrs. Claus are getting back into the work of preparation for Christmas 2010.
I HOPE YOU ARE WARM! We have very cold weather here at the North Pole. Did you know that the North Pole has bright light all day and night in the summer and dark all day and night in the winter? We do have electric lights to keep us going, thank goodness. Right now, our temperatures are below zero, and we now have long days without light.
The cold and the dark days do not slow us down one little bit. We are determined to keep the Christmas Spirit Going all year long. We know our good work, now,  brightens Christmas around the world, later this year. That thought keeps us happy - knowing we really understand that the work we do now will make for a very successful Christmas in 2010!
I guess that is a good plan for all of us, isn't it? If we embrace the work we have to do now, in order to improve things later on, we are doing something a little like you are in your school work, aren't we?
The Elves are also busy planning their year's work. We should have an Elf Report from the Head Elf soon. Stay tuned!
Love, Santa

Two Weeks Since Christmas!

by SantaShoppe 4. February 2010 03:39

SHH-WHEE-ULL! BURRR! Two weeks since Christmas! The Claus family and friends have been taking a break, just a little time off after flying around the world, on Christmas Eve! The Reindeer needed some rest, too,  so we grounded them for two weeks!  The flight around the world tired Rudolph so much that his nose started blinking like a red light at a cross road! I wasn't sure if he looked more like a reindeer in a clown suit or a clown in a reindeer suit! Rudolph confided in me that he was glad to take a break. After a while his red blinking nose turned hot pink from exhaustion!

Head Elf, kept smarting off at Rudolph, "Rudolph, your battery is running down."

Rudolph told him, "My critics carry on when my blinking turns pink, but soon they will see the Old Rudolph, again, I just need a long winter's nap! "

Rudolph told ME, that the cold weather is nice for evening flights, but he thinks he will snuggle down in the reindeer barn for a while. I gave him a big screen TV this year for Christmas, so he is kicked back in his Reindeer Easy Chair, [patented by Santa Claus] and having a quiet week.

Number One Elf said he will start to work on the Elf Report, and we will post it, as soon as it is completed; that will probably be next week!

I hope you are all keeping very warm. It is cold here at the North Pole, but Mrs. Claus keeps the home fires burning, so it is toasty warm! Mrs. Claus is also serving up some Reindeer Milk with Gingerbread, so I better go taste it, so I can keep her happy. I learned long ago that when Mrs. Claus is happy we are all happy!
